Welcome to Baker's Buddy. By using our mobile application ("the app") or our web services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms of service. Please review them carefully.
Baker's Buddy is a recipe cost calculator and pricing tracker designed to help home bakers estimate ingredient costs, labor times, and recipe markups. The calculations, ratios, and results generated by the app are for informational and estimation purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or market applicability of any calculations generated by the app.
You can use Baker's Buddy in "Guest Mode" without an account, in which case all data is stored exclusively on your device. If you choose to enable Cloud Sync, you must sign in via your Google Account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication details and Google Account access.
Any content, recipes, ingredient names, prices, or numbers you input into the app remain yours. We do not claim ownership over your recipe data or ingredient information. We handle your account information and app data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
If you enable Cloud Sync, your data is securely backed up and synced via Google Firebase. While we strive to ensure high availability of our cloud services, we make no guarantees that the cloud database or authentication services will be uninterrupted or error-free. We recommend using the in-app "Export Data" feature to keep offline backups of your recipes.
You agree not to attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of our services, bypass Firebase security rules, scrape data unlawfully, or reverse-engineer the application.
THE APP AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. USE THE APP'S PRICING TOOLS AND CALCULATORS AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BAKER'S BUDDY OR ITS DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
We reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the app after terms are updated constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
